The Centre

The Centre is an immersive media artwork that uses water, light, vibration, and sound to reactivate the senses. The installation creates an immediate, embodied experience, drawing on historical healing and ritual practices, from Victorian spa therapies to Tibetan gong baths, where water and vibration are used for regeneration.
At its core is an elevated basin of shallow water that vibrates through controlled frequencies. This is accompanied by an immersive sound and light environment: projections transform the architecture into a fluid, ever-changing landscape inspired by the water cycle-clouds, rain, rivers, and ocean.
The installation invites a moment of stillness and introspection, encouraging reflection on personal connection and attention.
